Are we scared of the silence? Scared to hear God speak? We are crippled by violence but forced to respond in its wake.

These are the shadowlands; we are passing through.

I’ve been looking for God and I found Him in the shadows in the dark, where I need Him most.

Are we scared of the silence? Have we fallen asleep?
I feel like faith should be more like a riot and less like a silent regime
Do I embrace all my bitterness? How do I turn my cheek?
When I’m feeling loss, disillusion, do I still want to believe?
So don’t let my soul find rest in the shade of my regret
